Sean Big Announcement from A Fragile Tomorrow!! AFT has been selected to perform at the Papal Youth Rally in Yonkers, NY on Saturday, April 19th. We are thrilled and honored to be a part of this wonderful event. Stay tuned for further details, and as always keep listening! AFT NOMRF and Sax on the Web feature AFT! Hello all, Sean here with a bit of exciting news for you! New Orlean's Musicians Relief Fund and Sax on the Web have compiled 16 tracks to benefit New Orleans Musicians and Hurricane Katrina relief. One of these tracks is AFT's own "Walk Through the Water", which appeared on the 2006 Audem release Wishful Thinking. "Walk" is a tune written in honor of Barry Cowsill, a big inspiration to me as a songwriter who tragically passed in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Not only is it an honor to be a part of this great cause, but it is an amazing honor to be a part of this with 15 other amazing tracks, including songs by Big Jay McNeely, Chicago, one of my personal favorites Blackie and the Rodeo Kings, and more. NOMRF was founded after Hurricane Katrina by New Orleans Musician Jeff Beninato, former member of our friends The dB's and a bandmate of Barry Cowsill. New Orleans is a place I've dreamed about going since I was little, and some of my favorite musicians and friends are residents of the city. Malcolm Burn, who is producing our new record, was a resident of NOLA and produced a number of albums while living there. The new album will feature a tribute to New Orleans called Zydeco Girl, and might very well feature appearances by some of the city's finest musicians. Thanks to Jeff, NOMRF and Sax on the Web for this great honor. Please visit nomrf.org to order and support an extremely worthy cause! Sean |
